Located in a separate wing at the Museum of Arts and Sciences in Daytona Beach, the Charles and Linda Williams Children's Museum is the only hands-on science center between Jacksonville and Orlando. The Children's Museum is home to interactive exhibits that demonstrate various principles of science, including a race track, pretend to be a doctor or radiologist, tennis ball launcher, video light microscope, a make-believe pizza parlor, and more! The Children's Museum is designed to be a fun, safe place for children to play with educational exhibits that explore their senses, challenge their minds, and give them the opportunity to learn about science! Don’t miss seeing the 800 teddy bears and mid-century train cars that are part of the “Americana and Coca Cola” collection. And then, take a walk around the nature trails and explore the outdoor sculpture garden before heading home.
