Florida’s largest drive-through safari and walk-through amusement park invites you to spend the day on safari with over 1000 animals. With animal displays and encounters, animal feeding experiences, 5 rides, water sprayground, food, shopping and more, you are sure to have a memorable experience at Lion Country Safari. Our Mission: Be a leader in animal care, conservation and education to inspire people through connections with wildlife in a fun, family-friendly environment. Enjoy our newest attraction: The Safari Plunge water slides where you can twist and turn down our 214 foot long loop water slide or take the plunge down our 114 foot free fall water slide. Bring your bathing suit to cool off in Safari Splash, with 23 interactive water functions (open daily). Play a round of miniature golf, tease your brain with a trip through our maze, or take a ride on the carousel, the Rio Grande Train, or our Flying Elephant Ride. You can also enjoy the opportunity to interact with our lories at the Lory Feeding Aviary, our giraffe at the Giraffe Feeding Area, and our sheep or goats at the Petting Zoo.

Included in admission is entry into both the drive-through safari and walk-through amusement park. A recent study has shown that people can experience measurable benefits to both their mental and physical health by spending time in immersive, naturalistic areas with and around animals. With no contact admissions, daily capacity limits, social distancing guidelines, mobile preserve audio tour and guide as well as additional protocols for providing a healthy and safe environment for our staff, guests and animals, we are excited to be open.
