Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies is a 285-bed hospital facility designed to meet the unique healthcare needs of women and babies and is located in Orlando, Florida. The hospital offers 30 labor and delivery rooms, a high-risk maternity unit, post-partum and high-risk ante-partum units and a Triage Unit for women’s emergency and urgent care.
Winnie Palmer also offers parents classes such as basic infant care, prenatal breastfeeding, prep for birth, car seat checks, all about baby, care for your core, high risk pregnancy, mommy & me, and much more! Mothers Matter: An Emotional Support Group for Pregnant and Postpartum Women: This is an open support group for pregnant and postpartum women. Whether it is stress, adjustment to parenting, normal Baby Blues, or pregnancy or postpartum depression/anxiety Mothers Matter is here to help. The group will provide peer to peer support, emotional support, a safe place to talk about the anxieties of facing motherhood, facilitation by a Licensed Clinician specialized in Perinatal Mood Disorders, educational materials, and resources. Held at 89 West Copeland Dr., 3rd Floor, Orlando, every Friday from 10:30am – 11:30am
