OCPS Teen Parent Program

Your experience with your child is about to start. It will be an amazing time filled with many ups and downs, times of happiness and challenge. Our mission is to help you develop responsible, competent, and positive parenting skills and to help you successfully stay in school and graduate. The Teenage Parent
Program (TAP). TAP of Orange County Public Schools serves the needs of teen parents who are students in OCPS schools or the BETA School. TAP can provide the funding for child care so that teen parents can attend school to finish high school credits and to obtain the diploma that the labor market increasingly demands. By reaching these goals, teen parents will be better prepared to care for themselves and their children in the future.

Services include: parenting classes, mentoring, personal counseling, funding for child care, transportation, food, health, wellness, and more.
