Ronald McDonald House

Our cornerstone program, the Ronald McDonald House, provides a home away from home for families with children receiving treatment at hospitals and medical facilities in Orlando. Before the Ronald McDonald Houses, parents were sleeping in their cars or in chairs in the waiting room, eating out of vending machines, or bearing the expense of impersonal hotel rooms. Our Houses are a home away from home for families with children receiving medical treatment at any Orlando hospitals. Each year, thousands of families stay at our three Ronald McDonald Houses. Our three Ronald McDonald Houses in Orlando serve as a “home-away-from-home” that offers comfort and care to families with critically ill or injured children receiving treatment at local hospitals and medical facilities.
