Sunshine State Homeschool Academy

Sunshine State Homeschool Academy (SSHA) provides a low-cost virtual private ("umbrella") school for Florida families who choose to educate their children at home. We cater to students in grades K–12. We also provide year-round enrollment so that families can educate their children on the schedule that best suits their needs and lifestyle. We provide services related to record keeping, enrollment verification, report cards, high school diplomas, and transcripts. We also offer optional social and educational events and field trips, academic extracurricular activities, and other services to help families in their educational endeavor.

SSHA believes that the world is our classroom and that learning can always be fun. We offer TONS of optional social and educational experiences for SSHA students and other homeschoolers in central Florida in our homeschool support group, Sunshine State Homeschoolers. The fun includes regular social meet ups and field trips. We also participate in an art festival each year, STEM events, co-op classes, and host beginning and end of year parties. We also have an annual pre-teen/teen dance, which sells out each year. We hope to see you out and about!!
