Florida Theatrical Association Scholarship & Grants

Founded in 1989, our mission is to encourage the performing arts in our community. Annually, Florida Theatrical Association supports non-profit theatre arts groups with grants for professional training programs and awards scholarships to college and high school theatre students. Since 1989, Florida Theatrical has awarded more than $1.5 million in scholarships and grants to support arts education and arts organizations across the state of Florida. In a continued effort to cultivate the future actors, dancers, singers, and audience members of the future, Florida Theatrical Association provides workshops and classes at schools around Florida, focusing on topics ranging from auditioning and acting to directing. Workshop and classes are catered to the specific needs of each school, and have served a variety of different groups, from elementary and middle school students, to show choirs and college programs.
