Little Fishes Preschool

Little Fishes Preschool was founded in 1993 as a ministry of Presbyterian Church of the Lakes, and offers part-time preschool classes for children ages 24-months through VPK. Little Fishes Preschool offers your child a loving, well-rounded, Christ centered educational experience. We use the WEE Learn curriculum series that utilizes a developmental approach to teaching preschoolers. Children learn to their maximum potential when age appropriate materials and resources are used. Various forms of teacher-directed play (art, puzzles, fine and gross motor activities, dramatic play, science experiments, reading, etc.) aid in the development of the whole child and are used to teach early literacy, math and science skills.

Basic Christian doctrine is woven into the curriculum and taught through activities, Bible stories and songs, prayer and modeling by the teachers. The PreK-3 and PreK-4 classes combine weekly for a short chapel service where the children are taught the fundamentals of worship as they listen to Bible stories, pray and sing.
