Renaissance Charter School at Chickasaw Trail

Renaissance Charter School at Chickasaw Trail is a tuition-free public charter school located in Orlando, FL and proudly serving grades K-8. In Kindergarten through Fifth Grade, in addition to school-wide strategies in organization, we offer a Model Avid Classroom. This is a classroom with a trained AVID teacher that will experiment with various learning and collaborative strategies and serve as a model for other classrooms to learn from. In Middle School, in addition to school-wide strategies in organization, we offer a series of AVID electives. In 6th Grade, students can select the Speech & Debate elective to learn and enhance public speaking skills. In 7th and 8th grade, student can select the AVID elective that focuses on college and career readiness through the exclusive AVID elective curriculum.
