ASAS mission is to provide youth development programs that keep children safe and help them succeed in school and life. Every day, program sites provide academic tutoring and educational lessons that focus on the core areas of reading, math, and science. These lessons are taught by certified teachers and utilize FL-DOE approved evidence-based curriculum that compliments the students’ regular school day learning. Program Highlights: Homework help/tutoring with reading, math and science, Afternoon recreation sessions feature intramural sports and club activities such as art, dance, etc., Free athletic leagues, including volleyball, soccer, basketball and flag football.
In addition to academic-based clubs, program sites provide a variety of club-based activities that allow students to explore personal interests while developing their social and cultural acumen. These clubs operate during both the school year and summer programs.
