

Who Should Apply
All rising high school juniors and seniors who are interested in careers in video game development.
Ideal Candidates
Students with introductory experience in computer science and/or coding and an interest in video game design and development are encouraged to apply.
Participants should be comfortable with foundational computer science and coding concepts to successfully complete the program curriculum.
Program Schedule
The half day program orientation will take place on Friday, July 17.
Full camp programming will run Monday, July 20- Friday, July 24. from 8:30 a.m.- 5 p.m. daily. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
What Students Will Gain
Through interaction with EA professionals and instruction from faculty at the Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy (FIEA) at the University of Central Florida, participants will build skills that support success in college and future careers.
Program graduates will also receive a free laptop and gain invaluable insights to help pursue internships at EA after their sophomore year in college and once they’ve taken relevant coursework at the college level.
About the Application
The application includes questions about the applicant’s experience with coding languages, familiarity with software used in the video game industry, and short essay responses related to relevant experiences, interest in STEAM, approach to learning and overall career goals.
