Creative Core's Art Summer Camps

SUMMER ART at Creative Core! Each class is WEEKLY: Monday through Friday, 2 hours each day. Class size is limited. Morning session: 10am-Noon and Afternoon session: 1:30pm-3:30pm

Art Exploration: This class is a fun exploration of line, color, shape, and texture: the Elements of Art! Budding artists will play with process, learning basic drawing and painting techniques. Hands-on projects nurture creativity and self expression. Paint & Collage: Mix painting and collage to explore your imagination and the shapes & colors of the world around us. We combine different materials to create unique works of art, inspired by the beauty of nature. Media: Mix painting, collage (and more) to explore your imagination and the shapes & colors of the world around us. We combine different materials to create unique works of art, inspired by the beauty of nature.

Drawing & Painting: This fun class breaks down drawing basics and color theory into easy to follow exercises. We'll create unique drawings step-by-step, organizing lines and shapes into recognizable objects and animals. We'll also explore painting techniques, applying color to complete our projects. Mosaics Workshop: Students will explore techniques with a focus on color and pattern, placement and composition. Using a variety of materials (stone, tile, glass), we’ll create unique designs, from small exercises to a complete mosaic masterpiece.
