Windermere Recreation Area

The Windermere Recreation Center, also known as Butler Bay, offers a wide variety of activities for your pleasure.


Amenities include:

Boardwalk onto Lake Crescent
Charcoal grill
Fenced playground with wheelchair access
Foot bridge
Kayak launch
Large grassy area
Open air, rentable** pavilions (x2)
Park Benches
Parking
Pet-friendly (doggie waste station)

Sand Volleyball court
Tennis courts (x3), secured, lighted, and resident-only*

In addition to being available, free of charge, on a first-come/first-served basis, both Pavilions at the Windermere Recreation Center (“Rollie Rae Allen” and “Island”) are also available for rent. Please note, we need a minimum of 14 days to process rental requests.
