Pace Center for Girls

Pace Center for Girls

Pace Center for Girls-Orange County is a nonresidential, gender-specific program for girls 11-17, who are experiencing difficulty or conflict in school and at home. Pace's purpose is to intervene and prevent high school drop-outs, juvenile delinquency, teen pregnancy, drug and alcohol addiction, and welfare dependency. Pace promotes and enables these young women to complete their education, build self-esteem, and develop personal, social and family relationship skills. Building on this foundation, the students become productive citizens through responsible decision making. There is no charge for the students to attend the center.

Pace is a day-program, empowering middle and high school-aged young women to complete their education, build self-esteem and develop strong life skills. Pace Orange employs a team of certified teachers and masters-level counselors trained in strength-based, trauma-informed and gender-responsive care to help each girl reach their potential. We believe there is greatness in every girl!
