Commonsense Childbirth’s Easy Access Clinic

Commonsense Childbirth’s Easy Access Clinic

We believe that all people deserve a healthy pregnancy, birth and baby so no one is ever turned away – regardless of ability to pay! We focus on safety, quality and workforce development in support of our vision for equitable maternity care. Jennie Joseph founded the Easy Access Clinic to ensure all women, especially the most vulnerable pregnant women receive care and help even when facing difficult financial circumstances. The clinic serves low income, uninsured and people who are unable to find providers to help them with their pregnancy.

We know how difficult it is to find a maternity care provider in our area. Not everyone takes Medicaid/Managed Care insurance or is willing to work with self-pay patients for a reasonable price. Additionally, if you are advanced in your pregnancy, whether you have prenatal records or not, most providers will not accept you. Our goal is to calm your concerns, get you started with prenatal care and set up for your hospital delivery as soon as possible – we will not turn anyone away, that’s why we are called the “Easy Access” Clinic! We offer natural birthing services and water birth with midwives in our community birthing center ‘The Birth Place’ in Winter Garden. We offer a women’s health care clinic providing well-woman care, screening and prescriptions for STD/STI infections, and limited family planning services.
