Anana Prana Kids Art Classes

The intent of this class is to supplement your homeschooling efforts by offering an art program attuned to the Florida Standards for students K-12 who may be interested is the arts as an elective. The class limit is 10 children, which allows for individual support and attention. Although the classes follow the standards, they are also highly
student-centered. Children are creative beings and their strengths and interests are taken into account in every lesson. Throughout the school year, your child will learn a variety of media including drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, textiles, clay, and print-making. Additionally, they will learn the art vocabulary and standards required by the state including the elements of art and principles of design, cultural artworks, famous artists, community artists, art history, contemporary arts, art careers, and more.

Required materials: A sketchbook (non-lined pages). I prefer a spiral-bound
book around 9"x12" in size, but you may purchase any sketchbook you wish.
All other materials are included in the class fee. This class is also
