Welcome to Alona's Food Affair For Kids (AFA)! "It's not just for fun, it's skills for life!" Empowering our children with essential culinary skills in a safe, engaging environment. These life skills will help them grow up healthy and confident. What they learn with us will be used for years and years. Everyone eats, after all, and we want our kids to eat healthy! We offer daily classes thoughtfully tailored for all age and skill levels where we teach kids (and adults) in a safe and entertaining way a life skill and the art of cooking! They are designed to be fun, imaginative, educational, and appropriately challenging, Children will gain hands-on experience with a wide range of essential kitchen skills.
A hands-on cooking and baking class designed especially for homeschoolers. Children cook real recipes while practicing math, reading, following instructions, and teamwork — all in a fun, supportive environment. Each class includes two recipes and focuses on life skills, confidence, and creativity. Classes are held every Friday.
