Please join us as we celebrate the 20th anniversary of Winter Park Electric with this FREE community event with music, crafts & BBQ. On June 1, 2005, 20 years ago, the city hosted a “Flip of the Switch” celebratory event announcing the city’s official acquisition of the electric utility. Now, two decades later, the city has kept the promises made by:

• undergrounding 81% of overhead lines with expected completion in 2030
• reinvesting revenues back into the system
• strengthening and hardening the infrastructure
• maintaining competitive rates
• offering responsive and reliable customer and utility service
