Leaf It in the Gardens! During June and July 2022, a very special scavenger hunt will take place in Leu Gardens and all you have to do is find a leaf. Well, not just any leaf. A special leaf is your guide. Find the leaf and you will be rewarded with really fun facts about the gardens. There are over 20 of this special leaf to find. It’s a great way to learn about some of the plants, a little bit of history and more! A fun scavenger hunt for all ages and a great teaching tool for children. Kids can come dressed up in their favorite explorer or detective costumes. You will be given a special map to help you guide you. Good luck! Explore centuries old majestic oaks cascading over winding pathways leading to a wonderful botanical oasis just minutes from downtown Orlando. Stroll among one largest camellia collections in the United States. Discover a tropical paradise why wandering the tropical stream garden with gingers, cycads, and banana collections. Encounter a kaleidoscope of colors any time of the year in the color and butterfly gardens. Step back in time with a visit to our historic home, the Leu House Museum, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Garden House Welcome Center is the permanent home to a variety of art and rotating exhibits.
Daytime garden admission applies: $15 adult, $10 child (ages 4 – 17 years) which includes this scavenger hunt. Leu Gardens’ Members and all children 3 years of age and under receive free admission.
