Orlando and Gainesville, Florida-based Blue Water Freedivers provides safe and insured freediving instruction, training courses, and PADI Freediver certifications. Blue Water is dedicated to safely guiding you into – or further along in – your freediving journey. With easy-to-follow personal instruction, expert instructors, fun class sessions, relaxed pool sessions, and open water training in our beautiful crystal-clear Florida springs and the crystal clear Atlantic waters of Palm Beach, you’ll be given the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and confidently embark on your own exciting freediving adventures!
As a Blue Water Freedivers student, you’ll have access to the BWFD Private Student Group. You’ll also have the opportunity to be connected to several hundred Orlando and Central Florida area freedivers as well as freedivers from all over the state of Florida and the other 20+ states (and several countries) students have traveled from to take a Blue Water Freedivers course.
Blue Water Freedivers provides Freediver, Advanced Freediver, and Master Freediver training courses in the Orlando, Central Florida, North Florida, South Florida, and West Florida regions.

THE INSTRUCTOR
Bob Fanok
Blue Water Freedivers Master Freediver Instructor Bob Fanok has been fascinated by the underwater world and passionate about all watersports including diving since an early age. A PADI-certified Rescue Diver (SCUBA) since 1994, Bob had been actively scuba diving for a number of years when he became enamored by the mixed-bag of freedom, relaxation, challenge, and excitement that freediving offers.
His passion for freediving has only intensified over the years, and he’s recently had the privilege of training with 18-time world record breaking world champion freediver William Trubridge at the iconic Dean’s Blue Hole in Long Island, Bahamas. As an insured PADI Freedive Instructor, recipient of the PADI Elite Instructor Award for 2020 and 2021, and DAN CPR and First Aid Instructor, Bob trains all freediving levels from beginner to competitor, and is excited to share his knowledge and experience with those interested in this extremely rewarding and self-challenging sport.
