How do I know which Summer Fun Pass level to pick?
The main difference between our Summer Fun Pass levels is the number of games included and the discount percentage for additional game play and pizza & drinks. To select the level that best suits your family, we recommend accounting for the number of kids in your household (if more than two, we recommend a Silver or Gold Pass).
How many games can my child play?
During the Summer of Fun, every game is only one Play Point, which means that with a Bronze Pass your child can play 40 games each visit; with a Silver Pass your child can play 100 games and with a Gold Pass your child will be able to play 250 games!
The average child plays around 50 games per hour, which mean that on average:
- Bronze: About 45 minutes of game play
- Silver: About 2 hours of game play
- Gold: About 5 hours of game play
Summer Fun Pass Play Points may be shared by multiple children in the household, which means that if you have two children, a Silver Pass will allow each of them to play about an hour of games each day.
Can multiple kids share a Summer Fun Pass?
Yes!Your Summer Fun Pass can be shared among everyone in your household (kids and adults). When redeeming game play, just let a Cast Member at the register know how you’d like to split up your Play Points.
However, to continue providing our Summer Fun Pass year after year at such a good value, Summer Fun Passes cannot be shared with anyone outside of your immediate household.
Which level should I purchase if I have more than one child?
We recommend purchasing a Silver or Gold Summer Fun Pass if you have more than one child in your household to get the most out of your game play.

Can I use a gift card to purchase my Summer Fun Pass?
Yes, you can use a gift card to purchase your Summer Fun Pass in-store. However, gift cards cannot be used when purchasing online.
Can two adults share the same Summer Fun Pass?
Summer Fun Passes are designed so that each adult must have their own Summer Fun Pass. Two adults may not share the same Summer Fun Pass account.
Our Summer Fun Passes are digital, and are each managed through a singular Chuck E. Cheese loyalty account. Loyalty accounts may not be shared, and consequently Summer Fun Passes may not be shared.
With that said, if Mom has the family Summer Fun Pass assigned to her Chuck E. Cheese account, there is no reason that Dad can’t visit too and play games. However, Mom (the Summer Fun Pass holder in this case) must be present in order to use the Summer Fun Pass.
Sharing Summer Fun Passes (or Summer Fun Pass accounts) is not allowed.
How many Summer Fun Pass accounts does a family need?
Usually one Summer Fun Pass is enough. Families with more than one child may wish to buy a Gold Pass in order to get more points, but that really depends on your preferred daily gameplay.
Larger families, or families where the “primary” adult can’t always be present, may wish to buy more than one Summer Fun Pass. There is no limit to the number of Summer Fun Passes that you buy, as long as they are only used by your family members and not shared with individuals who aren’t a part of your family.
Can I activate my Summer Fun Pass anywhere?
Summer Fun Passes must be activated (used for the first time) at the store they were purchased from/for. If, for example, you buy your Summer Fun Pass from our Irving, Texas store then you must visit the Irving, Texas store before you visit any other Chuck E. Cheese locations.
Once activated, you may use your Summer Fun Pass to visit any participating Chuck E. Cheese location in the United States.
Can I buy a Summer Fun Pass for a friend?
Yes, but be aware that the expiration date on the Summer Fun Pass is two months after purchase. If you buy it for a friend and they don’t use it for a month, they will only have one month left.
An alternative is to buy your friend a Chuck E. Cheese gift card from our website for the value of a Summer Fun Pass.

When purchasing a Summer Fun Pass, be sure to download our Chuck E. Cheese Rewards app to view and redeem your benefits. The Summer Fun Pass holder will receive one Play Pass card to redeem initial game play benefits. Additional Play Pass cards may be distributed to your family. However, your daily allotment of Play Points will be divided among each card.

- Your ‘game play savings’ benefit in-app must be scanned at the time of purchase for the discount to be applied.

Each day you will receive 40, 100 or 250 Play Points (depending on your Summer Fun Pass Pass level). If you do not use any or all of your Play Points each day, the unused game play will NOT roll over. However, E-Tickets will keep accumulating on your Play Pass card from visit to visit.

Your pizza & drinks discount can be found in your Chuck E. Cheese Rewards app, under the ‘Rewards’ section. Just select the benefit by clicking ‘redeem’ and show the QR code to a cast member when ordering at the front register. Your discount will automatically be applied at check out.

Yes, there are a few limitations to your benefit.

- Purchases must be made at the front register, not at a kiosk or via mobile table ordering, and is not applicable for online order delivery orders.
- There are a few restrictions on which menu items receive this discount. The discount does not apply to birthday party items, birthday cakes, Buddy V cakes, alcohol, and a limited number of other limited-time-offer (LTO) items. Also does not apply to non-food/beverage items including trampolines, merchandise, eTickets, etc. Ask a Cast Member for more information, and if any questions.
When will I receive my surprise bonus gifts?
Expect to receive surprise bonus gifts from us throughout the duration of your Pass. While there is no fixed schedule as to when these will drop, be sure to have your mobile device’s notifications turned on for the Chuck E. Cheese Rewards app to get alerted!
How do I redeem my surprise bonus gifts?
Surprise gifts & freebies can be redeemed the same way your Pass benefits would be. After you receive an alert that one has dropped, visit the Chuck E. Cheese Rewards app, and find the gift under the ‘Rewards’ section of the app. Just select the gift by clicking ‘redeem’ and show the QR code to a cast member when ordering at the front register. In order to continue providing our Summer Fun Pass year after year at such a good value, we’re unable to allow your Summer Fun Pass to be shared with anyone outside of your household, that the Pass was purchased for. For example, the Pass must be used to split game play, or purchase food & drinks amongst you and your children, grandchildren, etc.
Can I purchase a Summer Fun Pass for someone else?
Because the Summer Fun Pass requires you to download the Chuck E. Cheese Rewards App and expires two months from the date of purchase, we recommend purchasing a friend or family member a Chuck E. Cheese gift card. This gift card can then be used to purchase a Summer Fun Pass in-store, at any location.
Is my Summer Fun Pass refundable?
Unfortunately, not. While we completely understand than summer plans change, after your Summer Fun Pass it purchased it is not refundable, nor can it be exchanged for store credit or redeemed for cash.
I can’t find my benefits in the Chuck E. Cheese Rewards app, what do I do?
You may just need to refresh your app! Visit the ‘home’ tab in the app and pull down from the top of your screen to refresh your information. Remember, you must be logged into your Rewards account using the same email used to purchase your Summer Fun Pass either in-store or online.
