
Music has a way of moving us from one place to another. With the intention of using music therapy for personal development, many possibilities exists within the framework of clinical music therapy interventions. Using music therapy as a catalyst for change can be a powerful experience for clients and caregivers. Our program has been growing within the El Camino School of Music, and provides a safe space for people with disabilities to express their interests and creative expression through music.
We serve a wide variety of clients with various diagnoses, including: ADD/ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Conduct/Behavioral Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Down Syndrome, TBI, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Aphasia/Dysphagia, Apraxia/Dyspraxia, Learning Disabilities, Seizure Disorders, Muscular Dystrophy, Visual Impairments, Developmental Delays, ID, Dementia, Alzheimers Disease, Cancer, and more.
