Who We Are

Welcome to Learning Through Play Child Development Center. We are a DCF licensed large Family Home Daycare providing a safe, clean, caring, and nurturing atmosphere for your child. While also providing quality early childhood education. We enjoy the benefits of having a small group size classroom, which allows us to have more one-on-one time with each child. Learning Through Play Child Development Center will be your child’s home away from home.

Philosophy

We believe every child is a unique individual who needs a secure, nurturing and stimulating atmosphere in which he or she can grow and mature physically, emotionally, intellectually and socially. Research have shown that children learn best when they feel safe and valued. This is what motivated me to open a Family Home Daycare center, in which children can learn comfortably while helping families in my community.

I have loved this daycare since my child has started. I toured 2 daycares when I moved back to Orlando and was very nervous about putting my child in daycare. This home daycare has been great since day 1. Teachers are kind and patient with my daughter. She’s grown and learned so much from the school. The teachers are very interactive with the kids, they do fun activities and even small science experiments with the kids. My daughter has really come out her shell and loves going to school. Best decision!

I toured Learning Through Play Child Development Center, I felt so much relief. Marie, the owner, is such an organized, caring individual. The staff here have an obvious passion for children with excellent communication skills. Because of this, I always feel confident that my child’s needs are being met. Best home daycare in the city! I am quite particular and protective of my baby girl and did lots of research and interviews before finding this gem. Amazing staff who loved my daughter like their own, kept her safe, and taught her sooooo much!!! She was so happy to go each day and that made me feel calm when I went to work. The kids became a little family, so cute! Lots of interactive learning. The staff communicate very frequently which I love. Perfect place for your kids, I promise!
