Each camp week includes all decorating materials, sweet treats to take home, instruction and assistance, snacks, apron and diploma. $425 per week for weeks 1, 2 and 4, $450 for week 3.
Welcoming all children 8-16 years old for a fun, instructional, hands-on experience. If your child loves all of the cake/cupcake tv shows, then this is the camp for them.
Join the experienced Sugar Divas decorating team as they guide your child through various techniques encouraging individual creativity and a lot of sweet fun!
Our goal is to inspire your child’s passion in the art of decorating as a future or a hobby.
Camps run Monday – Friday from 10am -3pm.
Weeks 1, 2 AND 4: All Skill Levels
If your child is a beginner or has experience in the cake decorating world this is a perfect fit for them! We are offering 2 camp weeks that are themed differently and will utilize different techniques.
Your child will be very hands on and will be taught many different skills from creating their own custom flavored cake batter to preparing their own sweet treats along with plenty of decorating opportunities. They will be working with several different mediums including melting chocolate, buttercream, royal icing and fondant.
They will be bringing home their delicious creations which will include Cake Pops, Chocolate Dipped Treats, Cupcakes, Sugar Cookies, Rice Crispy Treats, and a Beautifully Decorated Cake. Your child will experience a camp like no other, make new friends, participate in games, learn new skills and enjoy plenty of sweet fun!
Week 3: Intermediate Level
This camp week is geared towards children that have either completed one of our previous summer camp weeks or has some experience with cake decorating.
This week will mainly focus on creating a unique work of edible art. Your child will be designing and sketching their very own tiered cake. From there they will be lead through every phase of what goes into the process of making an edible masterpiece.
We will encourage your child to push their creativity beyond their limits. This is an amazing opportunity to really indulge your child’s passion for creating and decorating. We will also focus on different piping techniques. In addition to a tiered cake, your child will also roll their own cake pops and customize the decorations. You will be incredibly proud of their accomplishments at the end of this fun filled week!
Each child will also bring home a personalized apron on the last day of camp, a diploma and graduation photo that will be emailed to parents.
Each camp week is a maximum of 10 children. They will receive plenty of guidance and assistance and have fun within a safe environment of professional Cake Decorators. The camps will be led by Owner Clare with the assistance of the Sugar Divas decorating team.
Each child is asked to bring a packed lunch, water bottle and wear closed toe shoes. Snacks will be provided.
