Sessions: All camps are from 9am-12pm Monday through Thursday (except for the week of July 4th) and include all materials. All camps will be held at our location on S. Orange Avenue - details provided with registration (Sodo/Edgewood area)

June 3 - 6 (M-Th)

Instructor: Kris Finn and Rachel Buckley


Learn the basics of painting various types of images on canvas and paper using acrylic, watercolor and mixed media. Learn techniques to paint animals (feel free to bring a pet photo if you like), landscapes and portraits -  students will learn basic brush techniques and ways to use media effectively.  Images will be provided but may be brought in.  Class is taught by a certified K-12 art teacher.  $140

June 10-13 (M-Th)

Looking to make some art to brighten up your space?  Learn some fun ways to create big, quick abstracts on canvas and other media using non-traditional tools:  roller painting, flow painting, stenciling, mixed media and unusual paint tools.  Class is taught by a certified K -12 art teacher.

Suggested for ages 8-15

Session 1 June 17-20 (M-Th)

Get ready to celebrate your HP fandom in themed art!  Hogwarts Castle walls, Potions, Harry Potter follies, owl paintings, wand making, Mandrakes, HP jewelry, games and prizes, owl post, snacks, house cup competition and more!  Class is taught by 2 certified K - 12 art teachers (and certified Harry Potter Fans). Mrs. Ami Perez (Hufflepuff) from Blankner School will be our guest instructor! Please come prepared knowing your house and patronus.  We add new experiences and projects each year!

July 8 - 11 (M-Th)

Glass mosaics in the Pique Assiette style.  Class includes basic mosaic piecing and history, glass handling and cutting (optional), assembling your mosaic and grouting your small wall piece with optional mirrors.  Alternative mosaic forms and mosaic jewelry will be explored if time allows. Class is taught by a certified K-12 art teacher.

July 15 - 18 (M - Th)

Got a kiddo who likes to do something different every day?  Looking for multiple new experiences in art and craft?  Here's a perfect camp just for them!  In this camp, we will be making pom pom animal art, sculpting and decorating with pipe cleaners, learning about paper arts such as origami and kirigami, and doing some fun and fast printmaking lessons using stamps and rollers!

Ages 5 - 12 suggested

July 22 - 25 (M - Th)

Got a kiddo who likes to do something different every day?  Looking for multiple new experiences in art and craft?  Here's a perfect camp just for them!  In this camp, we will be making coiled yarn baskets, a perfect craft for stress relief, eliminating boredom and creating functional art.  We will also be creating and decorating some "cake" boxes, and painting and collaging confectionaries of the student's choice.

Ages 8 - 15 suggested

July 29 - August 1

9am-12pm

A perfect way to wind down summer by creating an art sketchbook journal with lessons in drawing, portraiture and design .   Relax and escape with new mixed media journal activities each day.  Students will end up with a beautiful handmade artbook to contain all of their art explorations and invite more.  A great way to end the summer! 

Fee: $140 per 4 day session


**Pop-up One and Two Day camps at the Studio!**

 All Classes are 9am-12 pm Except for Resin Casting (9am - 11am or 6 - 8 pm)

All classes ages 8 - 17, see individual class guidelines.  If you have a younger student who would like to attend, (or if you would just like to hang out with us and make some art) feel welcome to attend FOR FREE along with your kiddo as a BYOA (Bring Your Own Adult).  Older siblings can attend too!

All pop-up classes need a minimum of 4 students to take place and are capped at 12 total attendees.

WORKING WITH RESIN CASTS  - RESIN COASTERS, JEWELRY AND ART       2 days/$70.   9-11 am

Learn to use art resin in this NEW 2 day class!

Day one:  learn all about using resin to cast, mixing, colorizing, and using inclusions.  Choose from over 200 molds as you pour your creations for the following day.  Students will make a keepsake coaster (bring your own objects or use mine) and their choice of precious objects such as guitar picks, jewelry, and many other interesting finds that spark creativity.

Day two:  Exciting times as you pop your new creations out of the mold!  Trim, finish, assemble and embellish your creations.  You can use some of your forms to create a sketchbook/notebook cover or get personal assistance with your casts.
