Grow and Sing Studios Summer Classes

During the Summers we merge our class levels to Kindermusik Mixed Age classes for all ages and Kindermusik Foundations classes for babies for a fun-filled 8 week session. This is a tried and true program which makes it easy for families with more than one child to attend, since they are out of school for the Summer. Descriptions for both are below.

Mixed Ages: Kindermusik Make Believe & Wild Animal Park
First, let’s Make Believe! Where can you go to see pirates, castles, dragons, dinosaurs, and more . . . all in one place? That’s easy—your imagination! Climb aboard the S.S. Pretend and set sail to imaginary places in the land of Make Believe. You will dance the pirate’s treasure dance, visit Royal Island and the castle of a king and queen, and even meet a friendly dragon. Then let’s take a trip to the Wild Animal Park! We’ll slither like snakes and pounce like leopards, encounter tiny tree frogs and enormous elephants, and visit amazing habitats that are high and low, hot and cold, dry and rainy. Then, it’s time for the animals’ favorite activity, which they all do together. It’s the jungle hokey-pokey!

Foundations for Babies: Kindermusik Music Makes My Day & Nature Walk
First up, Music Makes My Day: If you think about it, your day-to-day routine is a lot like a piece of music. Ups, downs, repetitions, patterns, fast parts, slow parts, and lots (and lots) of improvising! Music Makes My Day focuses on daily rituals and parts of the day, and gets you thinking about anticipation, improvisation, singing, instruments, new rituals, and other ways to make your same-old routine fun and musical. Then we’ll take a Nature Walk! Let’s explore the wonders and sensations of the outdoors! We’ll use our eyes to look all around, and our ears to listen to all of the sounds we hear. Plus, we’ll touch, and smell, and move, and play! There’s no feast for the senses quite like a Kindermusik Nature Walk.
