Riding Lessons

 

Adults and children are welcome. We specialize in teaching riders strong foundational skills that are critical to all riding disciplines. Because effective riding begins with ground work, we spend time both on the ground, grooming, tacking up, and developing communication between horse and rider, and in the saddle (English or Western), applying those skills.

 

A Message From Our Trainer: Shannon Terhune

"For as long as I can remember, I’ve been on a horse. For the last eight years, however, zeroing in on the hunter/jumper discipline has been my main focus. And while my education is diverse, ranging from training on the racetrack, to Olympic-level eventing, to years of riding under the best of the best, the most important aspect of the sport remains the same; the horse. At Star Rise Stable, we aim to instill critical foundational riding skills, whilst training up caring and meticulous horse people."

1 Hour Lesson: $65

​30 Minute Young Rider Lessons (5yrs & Under Only): $40
