Youth Care Coordination

Case management plays a key role in the continuum of care to meet the physical, psychosocial and support needs of our vulnerable youth.

Case management, as a system of outreach, assessment, planning, linkage, monitoring, and advocacy, is vital to the Zebra Youth’s support of clients in housing. Case managers guide clients dealing with a range of circumstances and navigate the network of services available to meet their needs and achieve housing stability.
A qualified and experienced case manager, trained in LGBTQ+ cultural competencies, Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and Mental Health First Aid, will manage the various needs of clients, both homeless and these at risk of homelessness.

Anyone interested in receiving care coordination services must first become a Zebra Youth Member.

The Jefferson R. Voss Education Fund provides:

Financial Support

We fill in the gaps for educational funding, therefore, scholars are expected to secure as much alternative funding as possible. Zebra Youth is not intended to be, and cannot be, the sole source of support because there is no guarantee that the financial support will be the same each year, or will be provided each year. Our education fund provides support for:

  • GED programming and testing
  • Community college
  • Career and technical school
  • Zebra Youth Scholarship at the University of Central Florida (must apply through the University of Central Florida)
