Sandhill Preserve is located in northwest Orange County off Plymouth Sorrento and Haas Road. The parcel is 83 acres and the types of habitats found on the property include: Xeric Oak Hammock, improved pasture, Sandhill, and Pine Plantation.
Hike on a loop trail through Sandhill habitat, considered to be a rare habitat type by the Florida Natural Areas Inventory. There are lots of opportunities to view wildlife, and the property is awash with blooming wildflowers in the spring and summer. No dogs or bicycles allowed.
Good trail a little over 1/2 mile more like a grass road Round trip 0.64 of a mile to be exact.
